Two Qamishlo Brigade fighters martyred, two wounded in attack

Hasakah Governor Nour al-Din Ahmad condemned the attack in a post on X, saying:
“We strongly condemn the terrorist attack that targeted a Syrian army post in the countryside of Qamishlo, which resulted in the martyrdom of two soldiers and the injury of two others. We extend our sincere condolences to the families and comrades of those who were martyred and wish the injured a speedy recovery. We stress that the security and stability of Hasakah province and the safety of its residents are a red line, and that the relevant authorities will work to uncover the circumstances of this attack and hold those responsible accountable.”
Meanwhile, Qamishlo District Director Jihan Hussam expressed her deep sorrow over the attack. She said, “With great sorrow, we received the news of the martyrdom of two soldiers and the injury of two others in the terrorist attack that targeted a Syrian army post in the countryside of Qamishlo.
We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs and wish the injured a speedy recovery. We stress that the security of our people and the safety of the area are a shared responsibility, and that the relevant authorities will work to uncover the circumstances of the incident and hold those responsible accountable.”
